kk what games engine you using? Here a small list of games engines for you to look at

Gamestudio
HeroEngine<-----if you can get hold of a copy, its one of the best if not the best for mmos at this moment in time
M.U.G.E.N<-------2D fighting games but its FREE!!!
Panda3D<---------FREE and has been used in mmos before like in fantastic games like Pirates of the Caribbean Online .......shoot me now! to be honest its not a bad little engine from the looks of things seems smooth if not a little child like in GFX but alround if you want some thing free that works that people can down load thats the bunny

Using RC Standard. This is my first MMO and we hope to get better models very soon. Because right now its a bit cartoonish. An some of the stuff is a bit ify as for looks. Anyway , this is my first attempt at making a Instance for the game.

This is the entrance to Instance -1. Now if it will be used I dont know. I mostly made this for our modeler since he cant make maps for the life of him. But he can make some amazing models lol. Anyway these our just sample for now. I hope me and my team get better with the engine. Ahh we would have a demo ready but Jon is slacking on his end.

Im waiting on a text file for a detail descrip of spells im suppose to make. So as soon as I get that from him. I can code the spells. An hopefully release a demo. An on this game Jon will be the main Designer. After we finish jon's game. I will start production on Red Knights of Chaos aka my game idea/concept.

Our hope is to make enough money off the jons and my game. To purchase the Pro RC version. Its about 250 plus model packs and some extra stuff we need. But were hopefully it will hit. An we will be supporting priv servers. So those wanting to host there own version may do so with minor restrictions upon release.

Well you can down load HeroEngine (with a small copyright infringement)
But you can get a years licence for about $600 to buy its a scary amount......But it is the best, I can send you links to pages to the lay out an what it looks like to use.

P.S if you want some thing that is yours with out a licence I would type in Torque Game Engine to google its about $1000 for World Editor

Torque Game Engines have platforms in Wii Xbox360 Sony and even the i-Phone
And the price depends on what you want its still worth a look at

Yeah I seen torque when I was shopping for engines. Thing is we operate on a tight budget. Well now we do at lest. I blew about 1200 bucks on FPS game engine and it was epic fail. So I had to scrap this cash togethier to get this one. I mean RC is not like going to be a number 1 hit or anything but it will make some profit and its pretty decent. An with there new upgrades on the Standard it allows alot more custmization, shader effects, higher gfx, easy script writting and a bunch of other goodies. For the 100 bucks we spent so far. Its pretty good.

But Like i said this project is just to help us fund future projects. So at basicaly 50 bucks per client and 120 per server. I think we will make our money back. Plus the concepts we our working on our completely orginal. So if we get it done on time and in our budget. It should be profitable. The big thing now Im researching is how to properly promote etc. Also considering giving out around 50 copies for free to various people.

I remeber when guild wars handed out free copies and it worked for them. So we probly will do the same with this to get our name out there.

this is something I have to show everyone. Ok this is the flying ship. It will be a ship you can build using engineering skill. You can use this to fly around the world. I also plan on having some flying mounts people can fly around on. Keep this in mind when flying around. You can old go so high before you will not be able to tele port to different zones. Aka its possiable to basicaly fly off the map. Its kinda cool but can be a hazard. Now if anyone is interested in joing UOK lets us know. Thanks.

Its like Runescape and Shadow of the Collosus had a child. I like the look as well. Will it be a download mmo or playable on a website?

Lmao runescape had a child lmao Ahh anyway yeah it will be two parts. You have a downloadable client you install for around 50 bucks or if you want to host your own priv server. You can download the server package which includes 1 client and the server exe. The server package of course is more expensive lol around 120. But you can modify the server anyway you wish. You just cant resell it or charge people to join your server. You can request donations for your website. Just not anything directly asking for money for the server. Or you will violate the TOS agreement we created. An no one wants that, sueing people leads to lawyers. An court etc not a fan of that stuff.

Anyway, we do now have a web site up for the company as well as the games and projects. This is the temp site until we buy the registered domain. Aka coming probly monday. But for now go to uokgamers.no-ip.org You can flip through the sites info. Most the current news is foccused on Red Knights of Chaos aka this game right here. Also has release dates and other fun stuff. The forums our still under construction but will be used mostly for general game information etc.

Also know that this game will not be released for awhile. We our making johns War Zone PVP game first. Its kinda the sister game to this one. An his will be cheaper. Kinda like the mini version of this game. Now as for hosting option. I dont think john wants to sell the server for his. So you will probly end up all logging into one realm on his game. Anyway all the info is up on the site. You will notice on the home page we have some music as well. Enjoy the background tunes. It wont be there for long lol
